Specialist 1:1 Online Tutoring for SEND & Diverse Learners

Tutoring that is bespoke to the learner...

Our 1:1 online tutoring is fully tailored to the individual learner, not a one-size-fits-all approach. We specialise in supporting children and young people with diverse learning needs, ensuring every session is adapted to how they learn best.

Our experienced tutors work with learners who may have:

  • Dyslexia, ADHD, ASD or other specific learning differences

  • Speech, language and communication needs

  • Social, emotional or confidence-based barriers to learning

  • Diverse learning profiles requiring a flexible, personalised approach

Each programme is designed around the learner’s strengths, pace and goals, with sessions adapted in real time using proven inclusive strategies. This may include scaffolded instruction, multi-sensory techniques, structured routines, and clear, supportive communication.

We focus not only on academic progress, but also on:

  • Building confidence and independence

  • Reducing anxiety around learning

  • Creating a safe, supportive environment where learners feel understood

All tutoring is delivered 1:1 online, allowing for consistency, comfort, and focused attention, with regular review to ensure the support continues to meet the learner’s evolving needs.

For Parents & Carers

We understand that choosing specialist support is an important decision. Many of the children we work with need more than standard tutoring, they need patience, flexibility, and a tutor who truly understands how they learn.

Our specialist tutors take time to get to know each learner, adapting sessions to reduce anxiety, build trust, and support progress at the right pace. This often involves additional planning, personalised resources, and ongoing review to ensure support remains effective as needs change.

Pricing reflects the level of expertise and preparation required, as well as the individual attention your child receives in every 1:1 session. Our focus is on meaningful, sustainable progress, not rushing through content or applying generic teaching methods.

We’re always happy to talk through your child’s needs and recommend the most appropriate level of support, so you can feel confident you’re choosing the right option for your family.

EHCP & School-Referred Tutoring

We work closely with families, schools, and local authorities to provide specialist 1:1 online tutoring for learners with EHCPs and additional educational needs. Our approach is designed to complement existing provision and support positive outcomes for the child.

How Our EHCP Support Works

Our tutoring is:

  • Learner-specific, not generic

  • Aligned to the learner’s individual needs, targets, and outcomes

  • Delivered by tutors experienced in SEND and inclusive education

  • Flexible enough to work alongside school, home education, or alternative provision

Support may focus on:

  • Academic progress in line with EHCP outcomes

  • Confidence, engagement, and readiness to learn

  • Bespoke strategies that reflect how the learner best accesses learning

Referral Pathways

We accept referrals and work collaboratively through the following routes:

1. Parent or Carer-Led Referrals

Parents and carers can contact us directly to discuss their child’s needs. Where appropriate, we can help you:

  • Clarify what support may be suitable

  • Understand how tutoring could align with EHCP outcomes

  • Prepare information to share with your child’s school or local authority

2. School-Referred Support

Schools may refer learners where:

  • Additional targeted support is required

  • In-school provision needs supplementing

  • A flexible or online option is appropriate

We are happy to:

  • Liaise with SENCOs or inclusion leads

  • Align tutoring with school targets and interventions

  • Provide feedback on engagement and progress where agreed

3. EHCP-Funded or Local Authority-Approved Provision

Where tutoring is funded or approved as part of an EHCP or alternative provision package, we can support with:

  • Clear outlines of proposed support

  • Tutor profiles and specialist experience

  • Session structure and reporting expectations

Our team understands the importance of clarity, consistency, and accountability in these arrangements.

What Parents & Carers Can Do Next

If you are exploring specialist tutoring through an EHCP or school referral, you may wish to:

  • Speak with your child’s SENCO or caseworker about whether 1:1 specialist tutoring could support agreed outcomes

  • Ask how external provision can be used alongside existing support

  • Contact us for a no-obligation conversation to discuss suitability and next steps

We’re happy to work collaboratively and transparently to ensure any support is appropriate, proportionate, and focused on the learner’s needs.

Our Commitment

We aim to make the process:

  • Clear – with open communication at every stage

  • Collaborative – working alongside families and schools

  • Child-centred – always prioritising the learner’s wellbeing and progress
